Pigeon and the bus Kindergarten

Kindergarteners began this project by helping me read the book Don't Let The Pigeon Drive the Bus!
We discussed the shapes we'd use to draw and pigeon and a bus and then drew them.

The second week, students outlined their pigeon and bus with a sharpie. They used crayons to color and then glued on a black frame.

The final week was spent learning how to use watercolors and painting in the background. I love how cute these turned out!!

Self portrait Singers 2nd grade

It's that time of year again! Every fall, my second graders create art to decorate a huge wall outside of the music room. This year Mrs. Bakke and I collaborated and came up with a musical artwork for all to enjoy this year.


It was a quick 2 week project.
The first week the students practiced and then drew their art on special watercolor paper.

The next week the outlined, colored and painted.
